Augusta, GA –Cynthia Elaine Storey entered into rest Monday, December 14, 2009 at The Medical College of Georgia.
Cynthia worked at OSI Transcriptions as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of Fleming Baptist Church, but attended Central Baptist Church. She loved the people she lived with and cared for. Cynthia was an avid reader and loved children, loved animals and also loved Christian music. She was a very loving and caring person. She was a loving daughter & sister. She will always live in our hearts forever. Now she can rest in the arms of the angels in God’s care with her daddy & sister that are in heaven to meet her.
She is survived by her Mother, Ouida Storey of Augusta; Sisters, Martha Jean Robinson and Janis Leftwich (Mercer) of Augusta, several nieces & nephews, many aunts, cousins and very special friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Frank T. Storey and sister, Dianne Storey.
Cindy’s family would like to thank Nancy and Billy Jackson & family for the love and care they have shown her. Also the family thanks Dr. Robert Campbell & staff at Christ Community Health Services.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 4:00 P.M in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.
