Daisy Stewart Browning

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, February 27, 2023, Daisy Stewart Browning, 93, wife of the late James Browning.

Daisy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed celebrating all holidays. She had a great love for all of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple where she worked with the children’s program called The Impact Group. She loved all of the children and ladies that she worked with.

Family members in addition to her late husband include her children: Brenda Anthony (Alan), Vickie Wojtaszek (Mike), Tommy Browning (Robin), and Debbie Baxter (Bobby); 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Bill Stewart of Kathleen, GA, Martha Norris (Ken) of Thomson, GA, and Johnny Stewart of Evans, GA. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty McClain.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor George Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
