Mrs. Daisy Eubank Roberts
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, February 12, 2012, Mrs. Daisy Eubank Roberts, 89, wife of the late Jim L. Roberts.
Mrs. Roberts was an active member of First Baptist Church of Augusta since 1945 where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, WMU member, Senior Adult Choir Member, Deacon, and was on numerous church committees. She was also active in Campers on Mission for many years and served in several states in mission projects along with her husband. Mrs. Roberts retired from the Richmond County School System after teaching for 22 years.
Family members include daughter, Gayle Roberts of Atlanta, GA, sons: Jimmy (Rope) Roberts and his wife Anne of Clarksville, GA, John (Bo) Roberts and his wife Gladys of Martinez, GA, brother: John D. Eubank, of Appling, GA, sisters: Julia Eubank Anderson of Appling, GA, Betty Eubank Stanley of Thompson, GA, Ann Eubank Parker of Ludowici, GA, Jackie Eubank Legg of Henderson, TX, ; grandchildren: Beth Roberts Alvarez, Katherine Roberts, Anna Roberts, Timothy John Roberts, Melissa Fay Roberts, Sam Roberts, Biba Roberts, John Roberts , Aida Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Fannie Mae Eubank; her siblings: Gene Eubank, Fran Eubank Richardson and Bill Eubank.
After a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church of Augusta with the Rev. Dr. Jacob Malone officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be made to The Senior Bus Ministry at First Baptist Church of Augusta, , 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909 or to Good News Network, P.O. Box 510, Appling, GA 30802-0510.
