Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 29, 2017, Daisy Catherine Legrand, 62.
Daisy was always known to have a heart of gold! She was a giver, always wanting to do for and to help everyone. Her home was a comfort place for the neighborhood children. She was a blessing to all of our friends. Daisy loved the beach, the ocean and fishing. She also loved to garden and could grow most anything. Thank you for everything especially for your heart!
Daisy is survived by her son: James Floyd (Bianca); daughter: Laurie Floyd Eggers (Gary); six grandchildren: Wesley Vick III, Hope Campbell, Caila Floyd, Aubren Floyd, Joshua Floyd and newborn grandson to come, James Floyd, III; sister: Sheila Burnett (Steve), and brother: Francis Legrand, Jr. (Shirley). She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Laura Legrand, Sr.
A celebration of her life will be at In focus Church in Evans at 4:45 P.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 with Pastor Matt Lever officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 4:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors to help with expenses in her celebration.
