Dana "Ga" Robinson

Appling, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Mrs. Dana Robinson, 55, loving wife of Mr. Robby Robinson.

Dana was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was a 1986 Jones County graduate and was active in several sports in high school. Dana worked at Cushman Paint & Body for 18 years, she was known as “The Warden” and was proud of being Platinum I-Car certified. The Cushman's were more than co-workers, Dana considered them family. She enjoyed gardening, dirt track racing and fishing for shellcrackers. Dana was an avid Georgia football fan – Go Dawgs! Most of all Dana loved her family and friends, she will be dearly missed.

Family members, in addition to her husband, include her children: Kristi Newman (Chris Parrish) and Kati Holley (John Paul); Riley, Dixie and Max; grandchildren: Ava, Mason, Clay, Murray, Abbi and Davis; twin sister: Dawn Poole; nephew: Brian Poole; niece: Rachel Poole and chosen sister: Trisha Laughery. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rena Stanley, Drake, Lil Man and Jack-Jack.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Reverend Ernest Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Dana’s family would like everyone to wear red and black and their Georgia gear to send her off with a big GO DAWGS!
