Dane Scarff

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Dane Scarff, 75, husband of Darlene Bresadola Scarff.

Dane was born in Norfolk, Virginia. He served 25 years in the U.S. Army where he retired at a rank of 1SG in 1993. Upon retirement, Dane attended Augusta College and the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated with a B.S. in Medical Technology. Upon graduation, Dane then worked as the Supervisor of Phlebotomy Laboratory at MCG, and then as a Laboratory Technician for the Biology/Chemistry/Physics Departments at Augusta State University until retiring in 2013.

Family members in addition to his wife include his stepson: Jim Tochterman and wife Carey of Martinez, GA; mother: Lois Scarff of Pensacola, FL; daughter-in-law: Laura Scarff of Waynesboro, GA; grandsons: Andrew Scarff and William Scarff; step-granddaughter: Madeline Wible and sister: Sheryl Scarff Loper of Fort Worth, TX. He was preceded in death by his father: John Scarff; sons: Robert Scarff and Kevin Scarff; brother: Wade Scarff; stepmother: Patricia Scarff and sister: Lisa Scarff Hampton.

No services will he held.
