Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, July 7, 2015, Mr. David Clay Cross, 70, husband to the late Pamela Jo Cross.
Mr. Cross was a native of New Jersey but lived in Augusta since 1974 after retiring as a Jag Officer at Fort Gordon. He became a civilian attorney for the US Army and retired after 35 years. He was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. He was a member of the Webb Lodge #166, F & AM and Augusta Shrine Club and ALEE Shriners. He enjoyed cruising with his son, together they cruised over 30 times together.
Family members include son: Jeffrey Cross; brother: John Cross; sisters: Robin Keller and Jean Cross Frank; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 944 W Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
