David "Dave" L. Carlson

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, David Leslie “Dave” Carlson, 72, husband of Lenora Gail “Nora” Carlson.

Dave was born in Minneapolis, MN but lived in the Evans area for 39 years. He was a member of Kiokee Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. David worked for Bechtel for 40 plus years at both Savannah River Site and Plant Vogtle. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his sons: Nathan Carlson and Jonathan Carlson (MaryRuth); grandchildren: Constance, Valen, Ames, Heidi, Katherine and David Carlson; sisters: Gwen Johnson, Vivian Verke (Bruce) and Marilee Sanborn (Dan).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling, GA 

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
