David Max Guillot

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, April 9, 2022, Mr. David Max Guillot, 59, loving husband of 24 years to Sherry L. Guillot.

David was a native of Mobile, AL and moved to Montgomery at the age of 13. He graduated from Troy State University where he was also a member of the Kappa Phi Fraternity. He worked in sales with Southern Container and at the age of 38 he was severely injured and was totally disabled. He was a faithful Christian in the Methodist church. David loved golf and was a Tennessee Volunteers football fan.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his son: David Max Guillot, Jr. (Kelsey); grandson: Manning Guillot; brothers: Robert Guillot (Celeste), Clayton Guillot: and sister: Suzanne Marion. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Guillot (Willella), mother, Verna Sanders, and sister, Lee Montgomery.

The funeral service will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Earl Welch officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Robert Guillot, Clayton Guillot, Max Guillot, Mike Davis, Rusty Taylor, Tim Cox, and Billy Smith.
