Lt Col David Lawrence Knabel (Ret.)

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, November 29, 2021, David Lawrence Knabel, 69, loving husband of Elena Nikolayevna Knabel.

David served his country for over 20 years in the US Airforce. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, David will never be forgotten.

Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Christian Knabel, Charity Knabel Mathis (Jacob), Jennifer Knabel (Kevin Harrison), Ron Knabel and Valeiya Zotova; grandchildren: Madison and Simon Knabel, Simbarashe Knabel, Libby and Eli Harrison, Ethan and Reese Mathis, and Diana Zotova; father: Larry Knabel and Sister: Karen Knabel Raby (Rick); brothers: Jim Knabel, Tom Knabel (Susan), Mike Knabel (Wendy), and Steve Knabel (Nancy). He was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Knabel.

A funeral service with military honors will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
