Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 7, 2018, Mrs. Deborah Yost Els, 66.

Deborah was a lifetime resident of Augusta and worshipped her Lord at Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. Before retirement, she worked as a radiation therapist at the Georgia Radiation Therapy Center. Her love was woodworking and carpentry and she constructed decks, bookcases and birdhouses. She also enjoyed gardening and working outside. Deborah was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.

Family members include her son: Blair Els (Heather); sister: Dianne Casey (Bill); brother: Dr. Wayne Yost (Dianne) and grandchildren: Kelly and Kevin Els. Her beloved Yorkie, Rascal, held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents: Russell and Marie Spires Yost.

A funeral service will be Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Bert Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Faithful Ones.
