Deborah L. Joslin entered into eternal rest in the arms of Jesus on August 28, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. She was born on May 10, 1958, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She married her one & only sweetheart, Reverend Michael Joslin. Mike & Debbie celebrated 43 years of happy, faithful marriage & had two children.
Debbie is survived by her son Brian (wife Lauren) Joslin & daughter Marissa (husband Chris) Dodgen. She had 4 grandchildren: Brooks, Annie, Addy, & John. She is also survived by her brother Leon (wife Sandra) Chambers and sister Vicky (husband Ken) Cox.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Carlton & Delores Chambers, & sisters Susan Jones & Karen Wood.
Debbie loved the Lord with all her heart & faithfully served the Lord with her life. Her greatest earthly joy was found in spending time with her grandkids & making sure they knew Jesus. She would take time preparing ways to connect with them & keep them busy. Debbie dedicated many years of her life not only to being a pastor’s wife, but to nurturing the hearts of children, whether that was through being a preschool teacher, volunteering at VBS, or teaching Sunday School. The family held a private service to celebrate her life.
Do not let your heart be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. - John 14:1
