Deborah Horner Lawhorne

Augusta, GA – Deborah Horner Lawhorne entered into rest on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the age of 73.

Deborah was a native of Augusta, Georgia. She was a graduate of Richmond Academy High School and the University of Georgia. She was known to cheer and yell at the TV for her Dawgs. Deborah loved being at the beach, working in her yard, decorating for Christmas and drinking her diet pepsi. More than anything though, she loved being with her family.

Family members include her son: Matthew Lawhorne (Jenelle); grandchildren: Damian Cady, Saxon Lawhorne and Forrest Lawhorne; nephews: Thomas J. Horner, IV (Becky), William Horner, Robert Horner and Andrew Scott Horner; nieces: Kathleen Horner Bottomley and Kim Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas J. Horner II and Margaret Meacham Horner, her aunt Ruth Meacham and her brothers Thomas J. Horner III and William Horner.

A graveside service will be held at Westover Memorial Park on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.
