Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, September 28, 2016, Mrs. Debra Channell Miles, 58, wife of 33 years to Mr. Joseph Miles.

Mrs. Miles was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. Mrs. Miles was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan were the center of her world. Mrs. Miles enjoyed crafts and especially the Christmas season.

Family members in addition to her husband include daughters: Heather Reyes and Benjamin Reyes and Suzanne Linton and husband Joshua; granddaughter: Rachel Reyes; grandson: Ryan Reyes; sisters: Tina Ray and husband Nelson, Anita Brown and husband Alvin, Sr.; brother: Howard Channell, Jr. and wife Teresa; aunt: Ollie Mae McDonald; and a host of other loving family members. Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her parents Howard V. Channell, Sr. and Rachel Channell.

A funeral service will be Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Chaplain Edwin Ackerknecht, II officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joshua Linton, Benjamin Reyes, Matthew Sherrill, Howard Channell, III, Alvin Brown, Sr. and Alvin Brown, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive Suite 301, Casey, SC 29033.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M .at
