Elaine Holley Lewis

Entered into rest on Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence, Mrs. Elaine Holley Lewis, 64, wife of 36 years to George Lewis.

Elaine was born in Aiken, SC, but called Augusta home.  She was a homemaker and a 1978 graduate of Butler High School.  When not spending time with her grandchildren, she could be found watching Atanta Braves Baseball and University of Georgia Football.  She enjoyed fishing, and relaxing outdoors watching for hummingbirds.

Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Austin Lewis (special friend Stephanie Krauss); sister: Dianne Davis, brothers: Joseph Holley (Lajuanna), Michael Holley (Lin); grandchildren Austin, Jr., Levi, Parker, and Delanie. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruby Holley, and granddaughter Adalyn Lewis.

The family will receive friends and family Saturday night November 25, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd Augusta, GA 30907.
