Evans Ga - Dennis J. Clair, 56, ended his journey with cancer on 25 January 2016. He entered into eternal rest surrounded by family and friends.
Mr. Clair, originally from Des Moines, IA joined the military in 1977. He spent over 21 years in the United States Army as a Master Instructor and attained the rank of First Sergeant for the 101st Military Intelligence Battalion in Wuerzberg, Germany. He spent his career providing mentorship and guidance to thousands of service members and their families. After retiring from the military, Mr. Clair remained involved in the 706th Military Intelligence Group Family Readiness program, Senior Spouse program at Ft. Gordon, GA and his local community. His selfless service to others and dedication to the men and women of the military will have a lasting impact for years to come.
A memorial service will be held at the Good Shepard Chapel, Ft Gordon on 29 January at 2 PM. He will interred at Resthaven Cemetery in Des Moines, IA the first week of February.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa, sons Christopher (Lacey) and Deven; grandchildren, Conor, Ethan and Abigail; his mother Margaret, sisters Rebecca and Beverly and brother Jay.
