Dolores Faglier

Martinez, GA. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Mrs. Dolores L. Faglier, wife of the late Jim Faglier.  Surviving family members include her daughters: Celina LaChance of Martinez and Teresa LaChance of Albuquerque, NM and her granddaughter, Rio Keates and husband Ryan-John Keates of Davenport, FL.  She is also survived by her siblings Beatriz Melendrez, Frances Gallegos and Gustavo Miranda, all residents of New Mexico, and numerous nephews and nieces.   Mrs. Faglier was preceded in death by her son, John O. LaChance, Jr. and  eight of her siblings. She was the tenth child of twelve Miranda children. 

A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grovetown on Monday, March 25th at 11:00 am with Father Ingram officiating . She will be laid to rest next to her son in Lincoln, New Mexico at a later date.

Dolores was born and raised in Lincoln, New Mexico. She moved to the Augusta area in 1966 and was a member of St. Teresa of Avila for over 50 years. She retired from Civil Service at Fort Gordon after 40 years, working in various departments at many Army posts.  She  was a Torch Bearer of the Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority, Epsilon Master Chapter for 53 years, and served in many leadership roles including being the President.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
