Don W. Woodward

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Mr. Don Wilson Woodward, 77, loving husband of Mrs. Kathryn “Kitty” Woodward.

Don was a lifelong native of Augusta and proud alumni of Academy of Richmond County. He worked in sales for Kelly Promotional Products and loved his job and his clients. Don had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. A true outdoorsman and decades-long member of GA-Lina Hunting Club, Don could be found hunting or fishing when he wasn’t spending time with his family.

Family members in addition to his wife Kitty include his children: Staci Clark (Steve) and Ashley Woodward; grandchildren: Dalton Chassereau (Samantha), Clay Clark, Brigham Clark, Brittany DeLoach (Tony) and Carson Woodward (Matthew); great grandchildren: Addie, Emma, Amelia and Ali. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence “Woody” and Henrietta “Retta” Woodward and by his brother Brigham Woodward.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 19, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Pastor Milton Summerall officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M . Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Jenkins, Art Jenkins, Carl Darby, Billy Peel and Rick Murphy.
