Augusta, GA--Donald D. Grady entered into rest on Saturday, December 11,
2010, at Trinity Hospital.

The son of John J. and Margaret K. Grady, Don was a native of Springfield,
Illinois, and was the 11th of 12 children. Don was a graduate of Cathedral
Boys High School and later served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort
Gordon. Here in Augusta he met Marian Mulherin, and they were married in
1960. Employed by Mulherin Lumber Co., Don served in various capacities
including co-owner before his retirement earlier this year marking 49 years
with the company. Over the years Don was active in both St. Mary on
the Hill School and Church as well as Aquinas High School. He was also
a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Irish American Heritage
Society.

Don is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marian Mulherin Grady, and four
children: Sean (Mary), Michael (Rebeccah), Blase (Marlisa) of Alpharetta, GA, and Maureen (Frank) of Tulsa, OK. Ten grandchildren: Michaelann, Molly, Jane, Sean, MaryBeth, Maggie, Madison, Catherine, Ryan, and Bailey. Two sisters: Margaret Moore and Jan Kelly and a brother, Lawrence.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church on
Wednesday, December 15th at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. John Lyons, Fr. Gerald Ragan, and Fr. Ben Dallas as celebrants. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the church and the family will receive friends until 7:30 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aquinas High School, 1920
Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904 or to Catholic Social Services, 811
12th Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
