Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, September 6, 2010 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Mr. Donald Gordon Kumiski, Sr., 73, husband of 56 years to Mrs. Lucy Kumiski.
Mr. Kumiski was a native of Bridgeton, New Jersey and enlisted in the U.S. Army at 18 years old. He served for 27 years with tours in Germany, Korea and Vietnam. After retirement he continued to serve his country in the Civil Service at EAMC.
Surviving family members include: daughter: Michelle Kumiski, son: Don Kumiski, Jr. and wife Donna; granddaughters: Jennifer and Shelby Kumiski, all of Augusta.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son with Father Michael Lubinsky officiating.
