Donetta Marie Weaver
Augusta, GA---Donetta Marie Weaver, age 69, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Damar, Kansas to the parents Joseph and Rosella St. Peter. She was a resident of Damar for the first 20 years of her life and in Laramie, Wyoming and Aurora, Colorado for the next 27 years. Her and husband moved to Augusta in 1988.
She is survived by her husband Norman Weaver; one daughter Ladonna Chalker (Barry), children Danielle and Josh of Avery, Georgia; one son Kevin Lowe of Augusta. She has one remaining sister, Rita Roberts of Damar, Kansas. Other loved ones include extended family of four sons and two daughters, two daughter-in-laws, fifteen grandchildren, and ten great grand-children and many nieces and nephews.
Donetta graduated Magna Cum Laude from Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colorado in 1979. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and writing. She will be missed by all of her loved ones and friends.
The memorial service will be Saturday, December 4th, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2607 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Women’s Breast Cancer Association.
The family will visit with friends after the church service.
