Augusta, GA – Ms. Donna Jean Duling, 63, entered into rest at her home on Friday, June 1, 2012.
Ms. Duling was a lifelong resident of Columbia County and retired from University Hospital after 39 years of service in the OB department.
Ms. Duling is the daughter of the late Lodema C. and Harold A. Duling and the granddaughter of the late Abbie and Millard Cox. She is survived by uncle and aunt: Millard and Lorraine Cox of Augusta; family members: Kris Hanna of Athens, GA, Sarah Hanna, Wendy Hanna MD of Athens, Roger Sidener of Augusta, Carolyn and Joe Schrader of Greensboro, NC, Andrew Chandler DDS and wife Gwen Chandler of Augusta; and a host of other cousins and relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Lester Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be at the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
Family and friends extend their appreciation to the caregivers Deidra, Melanie, Mary, Ann, Peggy, Kathy, Teresa, and Mable for their excellent care given to Donna, as she could not have made it without your loving care.
