Grovetown, GA – With her loved ones by her side. Ms. Donna K. Buchholz of Grovetown, GA., entered into rest on Saturday, October 6, 2012. Ms. Buchholz is survived by her sons: John (Amy) Roper, Michael (Faith) Roper, both of Morristown, TN, Jamie Roper of Sneedville, TN; two brothers: Clarence (Sheila) Taylor of Gibsonton, FL, and David Taylor of Denver, Colorado; and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by two special aunts: Lannie Schaffer and Marie Ramsey. She is preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Ethel Taylor; brothers: Ralph Carl Taylor, Jr., Johnny Wayne Taylor; and a grandson: Caleb Roper.
Donna was a native of Richmond, Indiana but lived in Grovetown, GA. for the last 23 years where she retired from the Grovetown Post Office after 16 years of service as a mail carrier. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
The family would like to extend thanks to the doctors and staff at Augusta Oncology, Trinity Hospice as well as several friends for their help and support throughout her illness.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 8,2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
