Augusta, GA – Gone home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 12, 2013, Mrs. Doris Peebles, 85, wife of the late Hammond I. Peebles.
Mrs. Peebles was homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta.
Family members include daughter Faye Sanderson Strickland of Grovetown, GA; son Hammond I. Peebles, Jr. “Butch” of Augusta; granddaughter: Stephanie Sanderson Johnson of Grovetown and great grandson: Jonathan Johnson.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Andrew Menger officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
