Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, December 31, 2017, Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” K. Hall, 98.

Dorothy was married to her late husband, Luther E. Hall, Sr. for 70 years. She is survived by her two sons: Luther (Butch) E. Hall, Jr. (his late wife Laura Lee) of Chillicothe, TX and Ray Hall (Suzanne) of Evans, GA; three grandchildren: Marcy H. Fleming (Mike) of Evans, GA, Sean Hall (Anissa) of Frisco, TX, and Mark Hall of Chillicothe, TX; and five great-grandchildren.

Dorothy retired from Southern Bell with 42 year of service. She was an avid bridge player, loved reading, crossword puzzles and Jeopardy. She loved her family and friends, and always put others first. She was a member of Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church and Prime Time.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and David Day’s company MYD for his caring employees.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Mike Cash and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Mike Fleming, Zack Fleming, Sean Hall, Mark Hall, Mike Moxley, and Ron McDaniel.
