Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, March 10, 2015, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Davis, 78.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Raleigh, NC but lived in Augusta for many years. She worked at Sears for a short period of time. She was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping with her daughters. She loved children and couldn’t pass one without wanting to hold them. She loved french fries and Cokes from McDonalds.
Family members include sons: Ricky Donaldson, Frankie Donaldson and the late Terry Donaldson; daughters: Dottie Donaldson and Susie Donaldson; sisters: Ruth Williams (Huie), the late Mary Ryan, Fannie Grubbs and Daisy Hearrell; grandchildren: Rhonda Donaldson Turner, Yvette Donaldson Pryor, Ricky Donaldson, Timmy Donaldson, Tosha Donaldson McCarthy and Casandra Donaldson Grissom; and 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Thursday, March 12, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Angeleen Walker officiating.
