Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, March 09, 2018, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Ellis McNair, 98.
Mrs. McNair was born in Augusta. Her first job was at Woolworths. She also worked at Camp Gordon and Sears & Roebuck. Mrs. McNair was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Family members include daughters: Carolyn Stratton of Grovetown, Pam Westbrook (David) of North Augusta, SC; grandchildren: Phillip Westbrook, Amanda Anderson, Melissa Westbrook, and Chris Stratton; and great grandchildren: Morgan Anderson and Tradd Westbrook. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Rance McNair; and daughter: Janice Baxley.
A private graveside service will be Monday at Westview Cemetery with Rev. John George officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests charitable donations be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, 4280 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Clearwater, SC 29842.
