Dorothy "Dot" Parrish

Entered into rest on February 8, 2023, Dorothy Camille Parrish, 90, of North Augusta, SC, loving wife of the late Hubert Lee Parrish, Sr.

Dorothy, known as Dot by many, was born in Hattisburg, Mississippi to the late Douglas and Bertha Dinsmore. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and waitress, who devoted the last 23 years caring for two of her granddaughters. She was a devoted follower of her Lord Jesus Christ, loved to play scrabble, crochet, and go to the beach, where she spent most of her free time in her younger years.

Survivors include William D. Parrish (Jackie) of Hephzibah, Georgia, Paul R. Kirkland (Michelle) of California, Victoria C. Burse (Brian) of Jacksonville, Florida, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a very special niece, Bonnie E. Schlachter.

Dorothy is preceded in death by sons Hubert L. Parrish, Jr and Roger P. Parrish, daughter Patricia I. Coursey, granddaughter Melissa Parrish and great-grandson David L. Anderson, III.

Dorothy’s wishes were to be cremated and no memorial is scheduled at this time.
