Douglas "Doug" F. Coleman, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Mr. Douglas Fleming Coleman, Jr., 86.

Doug was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Doug attended the University of Tennessee. He was in the hotel business for 20 years. After retiring he opened his own business in cleaning and restoration with locations in Augusta and Savannah. Doug was an avid Braves, Falcons and Georgia Tech fan. He was an avid golfer, who shot his age on multiple occasions.

Family members include his daughters: Martha Lundy (Matt), Christine Stanley (Scott) and Kristie Arnett; son: Douglas Coleman, III; grandchildren: Shelby, Jordan, Ryan, Mason and Cameron; and sister: Patricia Binford. He was preceded in death by his wife: Judith Miller Coleman; parents: Douglas F. Coleman, Sr. and Nancy High Coleman; and his sister: June Beall.

Services will be private in Savannah, Georgia.
