Charlene Andress, P.h.D.
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, October 11, 2012, Dr. Charlene Andress, 71, loving wife of 38 years to James Rodney Andress.
Dr. Andress completed her Doctorate in Theology prior to retiring from MCG as Director of Employee Health. She enjoyed family counseling, helping people, and was a big Georgia Bulldogs fan. Dr. Andress loved shopping, traveling, and her pets.
Family members in addition to her husband include sons: James Lutes and his wife Joannie of Augusta, Chris Lutes and his wife Nancy of Atlanta, Jeff Lutes and his companion Christine of Allison Park, PA; daughter: Jenifer R. Harrell; grandchildren: Adam Lutes, Wes Lutes, Paige Lutes, Amberlynn Lutes; brothers: Mike Gilmer, Melvin Gilmer both of Dickson, TN; sister: Kathy Hickman; niece: Tiffany Sugg; nephew: Mike Gilmer, Jr.; and god children: Jennifer McCracker, and Claudia McCracker-Rivers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Revs. Tom and Carolyn Snyder officiating.
