Dr. Stewart was a native of Augusta, GA but was currently living in Rainier, WA. She received her undergraduate degree from Augusta College and her Doctorate in Statistics from the University of Georgia. Dr. Stewart was the Associate Director of Biostatistics at Dendreon Pharmaceuticals.
Family members include mother: Barbara Bannester Stewart; brothers: Dr. David Stewart (Tammy) and Pete Stewart (Kim); niece: Jennifer Stewart and nephew: Will Stewart. Dr. Stewart was preceded in death by her father: Dr. William E. Stewart and sister: Susan D. Stewart.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor David Hunter officiating.
