Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, October 1, 2014, Dr. Ronald Charles Corona, 76, husband to Jessye M. Corona, and son of Albert and Katherine Corona.
Dr. Corona was born in Canastota, NY, and graduated from Canastota High School. He received his Bachelor's from Mansfield State College, his Master's from Florida Atlantic University, and his Doctorate from Nova University. He taught elementary school in Florida, Arizona, and California, and was an Administrator and Principal in AZ and CA. Dr. Corona was an excellent educator and he loved to teach. He was also patient and fair, kind and generous, and an intelligent man with a great sense of humor who will be dearly missed.
Family members in addition to his wife include his Daughter: Kristen (children Janine and Adam Qadadah); Sons: Clint Corona and Dwayne Knott (wife Stephanie); Sister: Shirley Anne Sposi; and a large extended family with many nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.
