Augusta, GA- Andrew “Drew” Lee Passmore II, 17, entered into rest on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Doctor’s Hospital.

Drew was fun, loving, and loud! No matter what he did, he was passionate about it, and he did it to the best of his ability. Drew loved sports, whether he was playing them or just watching. He especially loved football, baseball, disc golf, and duck hunting. Drew played baseball for seven years at Augusta Christian and played for Martinez-Evans Little League for eleven years, winning two championships. Drew has left such a huge impact on his family, school, and community. He was a senior at Augusta Christian, the school he attended since first grade. He was a member of Social Inc. for all five years with his partner Emma Claire Merry, completing his fifth as a Lead Cotillion member. He was also an active member of Warren Baptist Church, growing under the teaching and counsel of Dr. David McKinley and Youth Pastor, Grant Janik. Drew did much more than just attend Warren. He loved helping lead and serve other students in the youth group through discipleship groups called S2S (Student to Student), serving in Vacation Bible School, and going on several mission trips. No matter where Drew went, he never met a stranger. He was known for his outgoing personality, being deemed Augusta Christian’s “Most School Spirit 2017.” He served on Student Council as the Senior Class Chaplain. Drew was a fighter, and he fought the good fight throughout his entire life. He loved life. He loved people. And most importantly, he loved the Lord. #BattleWon

Family members in addition to his parents include brother: Campbell C. Passmore; half-sister: Amber Wyers; aunts and uncles: Melissa Keenan (Trey), Robin Via (Tim) and Julie Felder (Jamie); maternal grandparents: Bob “PaPa” and Shirley “MaMa” Campbell; paternal grandmother: Cathy “G-Ma” Farabee; cousins: Hunter Via, Hailey Via, Liam Keenan, Jack Keenan, Morgan Drew, Parker Drew, Gracie Drew and Bellamy Felder; half-niece: Kaytie Wyers; half-nephew: James Wyers; great grandmother: Mable Wright; and many other loving aunts, uncles and cousins; a close family friend and girlfriend to Drew: Caitlyn Griesel. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Anne McMichael.

A celebration of Drew’s life will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Warren Baptist Church (Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30907) at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be held at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Bullard, Robert Campbell, Trey Keenan, Sean Kelley, Steven Hickman, Craig Smith, and Tim Via. Honorary pallbearers will be the Augusta Christian Baseball Team.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at
Warren Baptist Church.
