Earl A. “Andy” Rhymer

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, July 2, 2018, Mr. Earl A. Rhymer, 73 following a brief illness.

Andy was a native of Florida. He lived his adult life in Augusta, GA where he was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Andy was the owner of Paramedical Services where he was an insurance examiner and retired from St. Joseph’s hospital. After retirement he worked as a contractor for APPS Medical. He enjoyed working with the Boston Terrier Rescue with his wife. Andy dearly loved the ocean, playing and watching golf and being in the stands at Sanford Stadium watching the Dawgs play.

Family members include: daughter: Amy McClure of North Augusta, SC; son: Roy Rhymer (Ashley) of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren: Heather Wilson, Bradley Wilson, Isabella and Stella Rhymer; brothers: Edwin A. Rhymer Jr. of Mobile, AL, Eudon A. Rhymer of Canada, Frankie J. Anstett of Aiken SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edwina and devoted spouse of almost 47 years, Janice.

Special thanks to family friends, Susie Cobb, Aaron and Melissa Cohrs and Sheri Morris for their care and compassion.

A private service is planned.
