Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, December 16, 2022, Mr. Edward Geddings Fusselle, Jr., 86, loving husband of Mrs. Samm (Donnie) Powell Fusselle.
Ed is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kristen Sparks (Joseph), Judith Paul, Sandra Sandven and Michael Sandven.
Ed was born in Louisville, KY but grew up in Augusta. He was a long-time member of St Paul’s Episcopal Church where he sang in the choir as a child and was an Acolyte in later years. He graduated from North Augusta High School and attended Clemson University. He worked for Hughes Beattie Architects and retired from the Medical College of Georgia Architectural Department. Ed loved Clemson Football and the water. He and Samm owned a number of houseboats, as well as other watercraft and spent much of their spare time at Clark Hill.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St Paul’s Church with Rev. Eric Biddy officiating. Burial will follow in the church yard and Samm will receive friends at that time.
