Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, March 21, 2011, Mrs. Edith E. Abernathy, 89, wife of the late Henry Baylor Abernathy, Jr.
Mrs. Abernathy was a native of Atlanta, GA and resided in Augusta. She was a member of Warren Baptist Church. Mrs. Abernathy was a homemaker.
Family members include her son, Hank Abernathy of Augusta, granddaughter, Courtenay Abernathy of North Port, Ala. and numerous cats.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Warren Baptist Church with Rev. David Dillard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
