Grovetown, GA - Wallace Edward England, fondly known as "Red," peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the age of 63. Red was a cherished member of the community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, ingenuity, and love.
Red was an active participant in the Northlake Homeowner’s Association, where his dedication to serving others was shown. A true jack of all trades, he delighted in lending a helping hand wherever needed, embodying the spirit of generosity and community support.
Beyond his numerous talents, Red was an exceptional cook, delighting friends and family with his culinary creations. His warm smile and infectious laughter made every gathering a joyous occasion.
A devoted father and beloved best friend to his children. He is survived by Shelton England (Brandi) and Megan England (Joseph Whitaker and grandchildren, Ella-Faye, Hailey, Haven, Bella, CJ, and Colton, who all brought immense joy to his life, and he treasured his role as a loving grandfather. He is also survived by his brothers, Don England and Rusty England (Leesa), as well as nieces Devon and Casey England, and his aunt, Shirley Whitfield (Joe Spencer).
Red is preceded in death by his mother and father Jim and Grace England, and niece Victoria England.
A memorial service to honor Red's life will be held at Fleming Baptist Church on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Ron Drawdy officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, reflecting Red's compassionate nature and desire to support others in need.
Red's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, generosity, and resilience will continue to inspire generations to come.
