Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, November 4, 2011, Mrs. Eileen Rogers Presnell, 91, wife of the late Fred P. Presnell.
Mrs. Presnell was born in Lancaster, PA but lived in Augusta for the past 50 years. She has been a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church since 1960 and was a part time volunteer. Mrs. Presnell retired from Sears after 20 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and was looking forward to the birth of her two great-grandchildren.
Family members include her son, Roger F. Presnell; grandchildren: Lt. Christopher Presnell, USCG, Robin Keller; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Brown and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Care Force at Trinity.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
