Mrs. Willis lived most of her life in Knoxville, TN but spent the last few years in Appling, GA. She was a true Tennessee Volunteer Fan. She was a loving mother, friend and to her grand and great-grandchildren she was “Nana”.
Family members include, daughters, Deb Latch (Willie) of Augusta, Diane Allen (Joe) of Macon, GA, son, Steve Willis (Linda) of Jackson, GA, grandchildren, Chris White, Jeremy White, Wesley Latch, Amanda Ellison, Melia Latch Russell, Nikki Wise, Justin Torbush and Jonathan Torbush, great grandchildren, Coltyn White, Abigail Ellison, Caleb Ellison, Hannah Wise, Deborah Latch, brothers, Bob Columber (Dorothy), the late Jack Columber, the late Macklin Columber, the late Warren Columber, sister-in-law, Savonne Columber, life long friend, Peg Dickens Stuart and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose Mortuary, Broadway Chapel, 1421 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive, Knoxville, TN. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
