Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 9, 2015, Miss Elizabeth Hall Schweers, 86, a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She attended and graduated from Mt. St. Joseph High School and attended Junior College of Augusta. Miss Schweers was employed at Georgia Railroad Bank for several years. After recovering from an automobile accident she worked as the Librarian for St. Mary on the Hill School for 25 years. She was an inspiration to many and greatly loved by all of her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Kentwood for all the love and care that they gave Elizabeth.
Family members include sisters: Clare S. McCall, Rocelia S. de Borde and husband David; sister-in law: Jane Schweers; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Miss Schweers was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Ruth Schweers and her brother: Edward Herman Schweers
A memorial Mass will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on the Catholic Church with Fr. Gerald Ragan celebrant. The family will receive friends following the Mass.
