Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, February 12, 2011, Mrs. Elizabeth Prescott Kuhlke, 92, wife of the late Eugene M. Kuhlke.
Mrs. Kuhlke was a native and life long resident of Augusta. She was a graduate of Junior College of Augusta. Mrs. Kuhlke was a homemaker and totally devoted to her family.
Family members include her son: Edmund P. Kuhlke of Martinez; daughter: Betty Kuhlke Mathieu (Charles) of Augusta; 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She is preceded in death by her son: Nathan Harris Kuhlke; granddaughter: Elizabeth Ann Lamback and daughter-in-law, Judy Williams Kuhlke.
A graveside service will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Jake Malone officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers may be made to the Children’s Heart Program, P.O. Box 40086, Augusta, GA 30909.
