Augusta, GA – Entered into rest at her residence surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, Mrs. Elizabeth “Libby” Logue, 81, loving wife of 34 years to the late John “Chuck” Logue.
Libby was a native of Ridgeway, SC, but lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a graduate of Academy of Richmond County and Augusta College. She was a floral designer who owned and operated Flowers by Logue.
She loved and served her church faithfully for over 40 years as a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she was a teacher of the Libby Logue Sunday School Class for many years as well as a member of the Sanctuary Choir and director of the Young at Heart Group.
Family members include her sons: Charles Courtney Logue and wife Kathy , Mike Logue and wife Amy; grandchildren: Russell Logue and wife Stayci, Heather Parrish and husband Ben, Jennifer Logue, Kimberly Cabrera and husband Jesse, Cayley Allen and husband Michael, Justin Logue, Taylor Logue; and cousin: Peggy Smith and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
