Augusta, GA – Mrs. Elma Mitchell Pratt, 102, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012
Mrs. Pratt was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and was the oldest living member, she was also a member of the United Methodist Woman and Emma Lester Sunday School Class. She was an avid bridge player, a charter member and past president of the Greenway Garden Club, and was also a homemaker.
Mrs. Pratt is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Pratt and her son William G. Burnley. She is survived by her daughter: Martha Toole and husband Franklin; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Other family members include her daughter in law: Viola Burnley and a niece: Elizabeth Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Sandra Leightner officiating.
