Augusta, GA – Emily Elaine Joelle Maggs, 19, entered into rest Friday, June 16, 2017. She was a gift from God to Vint and Renee Maggs of Evans, GA. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Adam, her maternal grandparents, Forrest and Elizabeth Hollar of Martinez, GA, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Emily was homeschooled, attended “The Maggs Academy” where she was instructed in the Sonlight Curriculum. She graduated with perfect attendance and high honors as class Valedictorian. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
She was a cosmetology apprentice at Hair and Essentials Beauty Salon in Evans. Emily also worked as a waitress at several local establishments. She was known for both her inner and her outward beauty.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Parkway Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Davis, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 2543 William Few Pkwy, Evans, GA 30809.
