Emiree C. Beason
Martinez, GA- Mrs. Emiree C. “Ree” Beason beloved wife of Robert J. Beason entered into rest Sunday, January 3, 2016. Ree was instrumental in the founding of Safe Homes of Augusta, a place for abused and battered women. She practiced Clinical Psychology for a while in Augusta and later opened 2860, an upscale restaurant and piano lounge. She later opened Walton Station in Augusta, a popular restaurant and piano lounge. Ree was an avid scuba diver and lover of boating which she shared with her husband, Bob, in the Beaufort, SC area.
Family members, in addition to her husband, include her mother Frances McRory, brothers Cooper Cliatt, Jimmy Crawford, and Ronnie McRory, all of Augusta, GA, and step-son Scott Beason of Cocoa Beach, FL.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends following the service.
