Mr. Arostegui was born in Matanzas, Cuba. He was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church and was an Electrical Engineer with International Paper.
Family members in addition to his wife include brother: Carlos B. Arostegui; aunts: Teresa Gonzalez-Quevedo, Hortensia Labourdette; cousins: Silvia G. Richart, Sara Llanes, Rodolfo Labourdette, Judith Urriola, Hortensia Jimenez; multiple second and third cousins; stepsons: Angel (Christal) Ortiz, Jr., Rodney (April) Ortiz; stepdaughter: Carrie Ortiz; step grandchildren: Ana, Joshawa, Luis, Hank Ortiz; his International Paper family; Amateur Radio Club of Augusta; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Enrique J. Arostegui and mother, Sara Dolores Arostegui
A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. David Shelton officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
