Erleen Ann Rotger, age 62, entered into rest February 7, 2024. Born August 17, 1961 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Erleen was a resident of Augusta, GA, Grovetown, GA, and most recently Edgefield, SC. Erleen attended Butler High School and Augusta Technical College, working as an oncology nurse for AU Health until her retirement in October of 2023.
Mrs. Rotger would easily light up a room with her kindness and incredible smile, making even newest persons entering her life feel like lifelong friends. Erleen enjoyed helping her patients by going above and beyond to make their treatments more comfortable, spending time with her friends, cooking and baking, traveling, and most importantly spending time with her family and grandchildren: Corbyn, Paisley, and Ella. Erleen was also an active member at Stevens Creek Church as well as an avid donor to the Augusta Dream Center and Toys for Tots.
Mrs. Rotger was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Earl and Elizabeth Agnes "Betty" Bollinger.
Erleen is survived by her husband Robin Rotger, sister Janice Marie Smith, and her husband Curby Lee, sons Zachary Andrew Sapp and his wife Ashley, and Joshua Elliott Sapp and his wife Chelsi. In addition, her 3 grandchildren, Corbyn Amerson, Paisley Ann Sapp, and Ella Marie Sapp, and niece LeeAnne Smith and her daughters Ava and June. Three stepchildren Brad Rotger, Cortney Rotger, Candice Nash in addition to their 4 grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any donation be made to the Augusta Dream Center.
The family will hold a visitation Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevens Creek Church on Stevens Creek Road followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
