Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, June 10, 2010, Estelle Cleghorn, 97, wife of the late James D. Cleghorn.
Mrs. Estelle Cleghorn was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta; she loved her church and was very proud of her family.
Family members include: husband of 72 years: the late James D. Cleghorn, daughter: Joan Cleghorn Gay (Doy) of Modoc, South Carolina, sons: James D. Cleghorn PhD (Carol) of Houston, Texas, Jack R. Cleghorn (Bokie) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, sisters: Beatrice Cline and Dorothy Smith.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Jake Malone officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Memorial Garden of First Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Chapel Fund of First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 14489, Augusta, GA 30919
The family will receive friends following Inurnment at First Baptist Church.
