Esther K. Davis

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, March 9, 2023, Mrs. Esther Kinard Davis, 95, wife of the late Mr. Kenneth Garven Davis.
Esther was born in Erhardt, SC and was a graduate of Erhardt High School. She was a devoted member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and a member of the Shiver Women’s Sunday School Class. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother; a Godly woman that loved and talked to her Lord Jesus every day.
Family members include her children: Harold Michael Davis (Gigi), Glenda Joyce Grotke (Doug) , James Perry Davis (Libba), Nancy Davis Wilkes (Nate), nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Esther was preceded in death by her parents: Perry and Ella Kinard, and her siblings: Annie Laura Ayers, Robert Earl Kinard, Lorraine K. Carswell and Perry Simms Kinard.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Rev. Floyd Harrison and Rev. Rick Hendricks officiating. Private burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.
