Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, December 27, 2012, Mrs. Esther Veronica Plankey, 93, wife of the late William A. Plankey.
Mrs. Plankey was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church for 30 years. She was a veteran of World War II and a retired school nurse. Mrs. Plankey enjoyed lunch with friends and Bingo.
Family members include son: Michael J. Plankey and wife Helen of Evans; grandchildren: Scott W. Plankey, Evan M. Plankey and wife Rebecca; sister: Marion Tossavian; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Rev. Pablo Migone celebrant.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Josephs Catholic Church, 2607 Lumpkin Rd., Augusta, GA 30906.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.
